My sister-in-law once told me that the older kids get, the dumber they get. I used to think she was joking. Now, I realize that she was totally correct in her statement!! The other night Lucas had just taken a shower and was kind of hungry afterwards. He asked us if he could have a snack. Typically we don't let the kids have snacks on the weeknights but figured we had better 'cuz he had been kind of cranky. After he was given the ok for a snack, Lucas started to second guess whether or not he should have something. His question that came next made Warren and I laugh for hours...here is what he said..."Wait a minute mom and dad. Are you sure I should eat something now? I just took a shower so if I eat now, won't I cramp up?"
Older does not necessarily equal smarter I guess......
